Installation of lattice purlins and beam supports
But wait…didn’t I already show you how to install arbor beams/purlins and also how to install the beam supports?
Yes, I sure did. Today’s video shows how I finished the lattice purlins and how I added the second set of rafter supports. It’s not very new, but it’s fitting very well!
I specifically waited to add the second set of joist brackets to make installing the joists easier. Leveling and securing joists at 2 points is much easier than at 4 points.
As you can see in the video, after attaching the purlins/beams to the joists, I installed the second set of joists like the first, with 4 lag screws in pre-drilled holes.
Easy – Below I’ll show you how I installed those beautiful curved wood brackets.
Stay tuned and subscribe to see me stain the cedar gazebo, add the swing hangers, and add the paver patio, until the finished project is revealed!
